Luvie Cuevas

Luvie Mary Ladner Cuevas, age 89, of Lizana, gained her Angel wings on October 18, 2018.
She now shares her eternal life with her husband, Vircle Cuevas, Sr., and Rowland Baker, Jr.; her children, Louise Frost (David), and Vircle Cuevas, Jr.; a grandchild, Trudy Lynn Northrop; parents, Victorine and Azeline Ladner; her sisters, Vera Niolet and Belena Cuevas.
Luvie is survived by her children, Judy Northrop (Lew Moran), Donna Lizana (Sonny), Regina Garrett (Charles), Angie Coats (Gary), and Veronica Maines (Doug); 14 grandchildren, Andrea, Lisa, Desiree, Rochelle, Durant, Ron, Derek, Tonya, Gina, Kelly, Nick, Rachael, Brent, and Brian; 29 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
Mrs. Cuevas enjoyed spending time with her family and she always had that beautiful smile on her face.  Her legacy of strong faith, love for all, generosity and kindness will be remembered by all.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 21, 2018, from 6 - 9 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  Visitation will also be on Monday, October 22, from 9 - 11 am at St. Ann Catholic Church, Lizana.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church.  Interment will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Nursing Center and Garden Park Hospital Telemetry Unit for their care and concern of their mother during her time of illness.
