Lula Mary Scarborough, age 84, formerly of Long Beach, died December 6, 2008 in Port Arthur, TX.
She lived the last 18 years in Texas and she loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ceville and Sedonia Dubuisson, 3 brothers: Wesley, Hester, and Chester Dubuisson; 3 sisters: Verna Dubuisson, Lucy Cuevas, and Leona Necaise; and 2 husbands: J.D. Scarborough and Harold Shavers.
She is survived by a son, Julius (Shirley) Dubuisson, daughters: Dolores (Roger) Moran, Charlotte Ransonette, and Deborah Taylor; 3 sisters: Lucille Necaise, Beulah Alexander, and Joyce Alexander; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 15, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Allen Cemetery.
