Lucille Marie (Kouba) Darling passed away peacefully at Pass Oaks Personal Care Home in Pass Christian on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the age of 93, surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law, and a very caring nurse and aide.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois, October 21, 1925, to Louis and Mary (Budovec) Kouba, the eighth of ten children. She married Duane Eugene Darling (of Wild Rose, Wisconsin) on February 7, 1948. They had one child, Anne Marie.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her parents, Louis and Mary; and eight siblings, Charles, Eleanor, Joseph, Josephine, Georgiana, Edward, Frank, and Harold.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marie LaRosa (Donald R. LaRosa, Sr.) of Pass Christian, MS; her brother, George Louis Kouba of Chicago, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
Lucille was a devoted wife and mother. She and Duane were married for 53 years before Duane passed away. She will be missed by all who knew her.
There will be a graveside service at 2:30 PM, Monday, July 15, 2019, at Biloxi National Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian, is serving the family.
