Lucille Bolender, age 87, resident of Gulfport passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 in Gulfport.
She was a member of Handsboro United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, TOPS #5, and Waves of Red.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mrs. Bolender was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence G. Bolender; her parents, Gerald and Nora Harvey; her sister, Pauline Stoj; and her brother, Homer Harvey.
She is survived by her son, Carl Bolender and his wife Shawn of Navarre, FL; her daughters, Mary Beard and her husband Fred of Gulfport, Nina Patrick of Harker Hieghts, TX; her four grandchildren, Susan Smith of Harker Hieghts, TX, Tricia Duren, Jennifer Walker, and Randy Beard all of Gulfport; her seven great grandchildren, Miles, Bethany, Lydia, Jaycee, Tyler, Brandon, and Jason; and her sister, Vivian Bromley of Perrysburg, NY.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11 am at Handsboro United Methodist Church, Gulfport with a visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Handsboro United Methodist Church, 2333 Demaret Drive
