Lucille Allison

Lucille McCormick Allison, age 80, of Gulfport, passed away on April 22, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Allison was preceded in death by her parents, George W. McCormick and Claudia Tompkins McCormick; and her brothers, E.C. McCormick and George Willard McCormick.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William R. Allison, Sr of Gulfport; her children, Reed Allison and Martha Lucille Douglas, both of Gulfport; her granddaughter, Allison Clay of Gulfport; her great grandson, Carter Clay, of Gulfport; her sisters in law, Velda McCormick of Shreveport, LA and Dot Loe of Arcadia, LA; a brother in law, P.T. Allison and his wife, Dorothy, of Ruston, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Allison was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gulfport for forty years. She was a strong and devout Christian and was active in the Mary Sunday School Class at her church. She was co-founder with her husband of First State Bank in Waskom, TX in 1954 where she served as its Cashier.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
