Loye Maxwell Russell

MSgt. Loye Maxwell Russell, U.S. Air Force, retired, age 73, resident of Ocean Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
Mr. Russell was born in Gadsden, AL to Howard J. and Nina Alewine Russell. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. After military retirement, he worked for Litton Data Systems and then retired from NASA from the network security department. After many years away from the Coast, the love of our Coastal waters brought he and his family home. He loved his boat, fishing, and spending time at the islands.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Janice C. Russell of Ocean Springs; children, Jodi Grammer, Kati Manuel, Sadi Chandler, Donna Pruitt, Larry Russell, Dale Hopson, and Ray Swabb; siblings, Larry J. Russell, Shelby Scott, Debbie Crawford, and Lisa Nelson; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, from 2-3 p.m.
Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m.
Burial with full military honors will be Monday, June 13, 2011, at Biloxi National Cemetery, at 9 a.m.
