Lovell Shaw Geiger, age 86, of the Lyman community, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019.
Lovell was born and raised in the Lizana community in Harrison County and was a member of Saint Joseph Church on Depew Road in Gulfport. She lived for many years in the Lyman community with her husband, Darrell. She was a seamstress by trade, but the true passion of her life was her family. Her love for her family was unmatched, and she cherished all the time she spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Darrell W. Geiger; parents, Javin and Lillian Shaw; and siblings, Howard Shaw, Jeanette Williamson, Thelma Saucier, Boots Shaw, and Bearcie Ladner.
Survivors include her son, Roland Bond (Phyllis); her daughter, Donna Cooley (Adam); grandchildren, Dana Wayne Bond (Carrie Ann), Shauntel Humphries (Dustin), Dusty Cooley, Ashten Cooley, Tristan Cooley (Hannah), and Shelton Cooley; great-grandchildren, Dacia, Lauren, Hailey, Morgan Rose, Jayden, Gracie, Laken, and Kennedy; great-great-grandchildren, Kasen and Maylee; siblings, Loretta Ladner and Shorty Shaw (Ann); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private graveside service. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
