Louise Smith, age 81, the most beautiful, gentle and kindest woman I have ever known, has crossed over to the other side into God’s Heaven.
Louise was so full of life, never stopping. She was so childlike in that she took joy in the simplest things in life. She loved just watching the birds and squirrels in the back yard and feeding them. She loved being outside in the yard doing yard work. She would call your attention to the sunset and say how pretty it is. She loved her home and living on the Gulf Coast. She was always happy, never down. She was such a special person. Her favorite saying was “Let’s Go.” She will be missed very much.
She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Debie Beaver and Cyndi Taylor; her sons, R. G. McRae and Billy McRae; and her sister, Lulu Cox. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Michael Smith; her daughter, Lisa Hickman; her son, Roland McRae; and her 9 grandkids and 18 great-grandkids.
“A Letter from Heaven” ~ When tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not here to see, if the sun should rise and find your eyes, filled with tears for me. I wish so much you wouldn’t cry, the way you did today, while thinking of the many things, we didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too. When tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me, I’m right there in your heart.
