Louise Elizabeth """"Lou"""" Rogers Elder, age 84 and a life-long resident of D'Iberville, died Monday, March 3, 2008, in D'Iberville.
Mrs. Elder retired after 18 years with K-Mart in D'Iberville and was a Catholic.
She enjoyed sitting on a boat or on a river bank fishing. She was dedicated to her kids and grandkids.
Mrs. Elder was preceded in death by her husband, Chet Rogers, Sr.; and sons, Larry, Randy, and Richard.
Survivors include her children, Dale Toche of Biloxi; Chet Rogers, Jr., and Dwaine Rogers, both of McHenry; Liz Rogers Merrill, Kim Simmons, Bryon Rogers, and Dana Rogers, all of Biloxi; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, is in charge of arrangements.
