Louis Alton Vice, 74, of Helena died Tuesday, December 05, 2006 in Mobile, AL.
Mr. Vice was a native and lifelong resident of the Helena Community and a member of Helena Presbyterian Church.He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired as a Truck Driver. He was currently employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Vice Construction.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Pierce, and his uncles, Neils Kanstrup, Claude Vice, Ollie Vice, and Bennie Vice and his aunt, Aliece Owen.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Vice, Helena; his children, Greg Vice and his wife Patricia, Helena, Mark Vice and his wife Becky, Hurley, Benji Vice and his wife Teresa, Helena, Amanda Vice, Helena and Gary Bartlett, Helena; one brother, A.E. """"Peter"""" Pierce and his wife Grace, Helena and one sister, Mary Agnes Carpenter and her husband Ronnie, Helena; 8 grandchildren, Johnathon, Joshua, Victoria, Ainsley, Trey, Gavin, Daniel, and Aselyn, numerous nieces, nephews, ond other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2006 from 6 - 9 pm at Helena Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be at 2 pm Thursday in the church sanctuary.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Helena.
