Louie Hayward Booth, age 78, of Long Beach, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Gulfport.
Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Louie W. Booth and Effie Powell Booth; his brother, Sammie A. Booth; and his sister, Irene Rigney.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Paula Booth; his children, Roy Booth (Leeann), Sherry Walker (Jerry), and Gerald Booth (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ashlee Evans (Colby), Alisha Westbrook (Michael), Shealee Walker, Nolan Booth, and Brittany Booth; his great grandchildren, Kinzlee Westbrook, Aizlee Westbrook, Raiden Evans, Ramona Evans, and (soon to arrive) Alaia Cavalier; and his nieces and nephews.
Louie was a native of Hahira, GA and was a long-time resident of Long Beach. He received his associate's degree in applied science, and worked in construction as a Union Carpenter and Millwright.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Long Beach. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Long Beach City Cemetery.
