Lori Ann DiLorenzo

Lori Ann DiLorenzo, a beloved member of the Gulfport community, passed away on March 25, 2024. She was known for her unwavering passion for English Springer Spaniels and the world of show kennels. Lori's life was a testament to her independence and determination, always living by her mantra: "Believe in Yourself… Know what YOU want… MAKE IT HAPPEN!"

Born on June 23, 1957, Lori's journey was filled with remarkable achievements and cherished memories. She graduated from Riverdale High School and later pursued her love for fashion design and merchandising at Meadows Draughton Business College. Her curiosity also led her to study Engineering and Project Management at the University of New Orleans.

Lori's true joy in life came from her devotion to her dogs. She poured her heart into showing, breeding, and caring for her beloved Setters and Springers throughout the years and she had many friends in the dog show community. When she wasn't surrounded by her furry companions, Lori found solace in soaking up the sun at the beach and passionately supporting her favorite teams, the Saints and Tigers.

A soulmate to Carlton J. Ware, Lori shared a deep bond with him as they explored the world together through travels, motorcycle rides, and hosting legendary Super Bowl parties. Her proudest accomplishment was being involved with the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association, leaving a lasting impact on the canine community.

Lori will be dearly missed by her surviving family, including her mother Sondra DiLorenzo, sister Terri deSaracho (Carlos), nephew Matthew deSaracho (Angie), great-nephew Alexander deSaracho, and niece Lexi deSaracho. She will also be fondly remembered by a multitude of friends in the ESS community.

She is now reunited with her father, Richard DiLorenzo, her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. James B. Snow and Mr. & Mrs. Anthony DiLorenzo; and eternally celebrating her reunion with her beloved soulmate Carlton J. Ware.

In honoring Lori Ann DiLorenzo's vibrant spirit and profound love for life, let us carry forward her legacy of perseverance, passion, and unconditional love. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched the hearts of many with her kindness and unwavering spirit.

Lori's family would like to thank Edie Dellenger, Carmon Gaines, and Gayle Anderson for the love, support, and care they provided to Lori throughout her life, especially during her illness, and for the support and assistance they have provided to us.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lori's name to English Springer Rescue America.
