Mrs. Loretta """"Lola"""" Buckley, age 86, resident of Biloxi, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2007, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Buckley was a former resident of Florida, New York, and Texas, before settling with her niece and her family in Biloxi. She worked as an insurance agent, and her favorite hobby was woodworking. She made toys in her earlier years and donated them to Toys for Tots. She was a former Episcopal Sunday School teacher in Houston, TX and will be remembered as her daughter's """"biggest fan.""""
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Buckley; daughter, Sharon Buckley; parents, Peter Vannucci and Minyon Giberti Vannucci; sister, Eloise Perrin and an infant brother.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Hindsley of Arizona and Jean Zavrel of Florida; nieces and nephews, including Kimberly Hager of Biloxi and her husband Rey, and their children, Samantha and John.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, TX.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or the American Heart Association, www.americanheart.org.
