Lonnie David Brumbley, III, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 56. He was born on July 15, 1968, and his life was filled with love, hard work, and deep connections to those around him.

As the owner of Brumbley Plumber of Albany and Brumbley Service Plumbing, Lonnie dedicated his life to his craft, serving his community with unwavering commitment and skill. His journey began at Mitchell Baker High in Commerce, GA, where he laid the foundation for a bright future, one characterized by determination and ambition.

Lonnie was not only a man of the trade but also a man of the heart. Surrounded by a loving family and a close-knit circle of friends, he was never alone in the trials of life. He shared an unbreakable bond with his three dear brothers: William Summerall, Torn Summerall, and BJ Dennison, who stood by him through thick and thin. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter and camaraderie.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Casey Brumbley, whom he cherished for 8 wonderful years. Their partnership was a testament to love and companionship, a true partnership in every sense. Lonnie was a proud father to his children: Toni (James) Jewell from Cataula, GA; Lonnie Brumbley IV (Kalika Floyd) from Defuniak Springs, FL; Christian Brumbley (Tiffany Thompson) from Waverly Hall, GA; Pamela (Daniel) Schrader from Trion, GA; Logan (George) Baxter from Long Beach, MS; and Dallas Bozeman from Thomasville, GA. His legacy continues to thrive in the hearts and lives of his children.

Lonnie was also a dedicated grandfather, adored by his grandchildren: Tyler, LaCosta, Aubrianna, Alyssa, Brantley, Bentley and D.J. He took immense joy in their lives, sharing with them the simple pleasures of fishing, playing pool, enjoying bonfires, and grilling, all while imparting valuable life lessons and stories that will resonate through generations.

Lonnie is survived by his brother, James (Melba) Brumbley from Newton, GA, as well as cherished nieces and nephews: Kaitlyn, Johnathon, and James Jr. Together, they held a special place in his heart, always bringing warmth and joy to his days.

Lonnie also holds a place of honor in the hearts of his parents, the late Lonnie and Margie Brumbley, his Granny Brumbley, and Papa Brumbley, who welcomed him with open arms into eternity.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport for their unwavering support and compassionate care during a difficult time.

Lonnie’s life was a radiant example of what it means to love deeply and live fully. He will be profoundly missed by family and friends alike, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and a spirit that will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
