Lola Page Shiyou Ladner, age 89, and a resident of Bay St. Louis, died Friday, February 10, 2006, in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Ladner was born in Hancock County, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Hope Chapter #402, and was a devoted wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Crayton Shiyou and second husband, R.D. Ladner; sons, Winfield and Ronald Shiyou; grandson, Norman Jeffrey Shiyou; and her parents, William and Elizabeth Mitchell Page.
Mrs. Shiyou is survived by her four daughters, Marie Wallace of Standard, Ruth Mae Summers of Bay St. Louis, Beverly Necaise of Bay St. Louis, and Evon Shiyou of Bay St. Louis; six sons, Michael Shiyou of Lynch Station, VA, Dolphus Shiyou of Lakeshore, Edward Shiyou of Bay St. Louis, Norman Shiyou of Kiln, Norbert Shiyou of Lakeshore, and Tody Shiyou of Bay St. Louis; brother, J.W. Page of Bay St. Louis; 31 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2006, at Gulf Coast Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, where friends may visit from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. During visitation, Order of the Eastern Star funeral rites will be at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Gulf Coast Funeral Home at 10a.m. Burial will follow services at Bayou CoCo Cemetery.
