Lois grew up in Sebastpol, MS where she was one of eight children. She met David Flex Jones, and they were married in April 1944. She always enjoyed her Sunday Lunches with a group from the Church. Lois loved being a member of the OAKS and those relationships meant the most to her. She was well known in the church for making the best cakes and pies.

Lois was employed at Maybelle Manufacturing for over thirty years, and loved her work, the Werby Family and all those she worked with over the years. Lois spent the last 7 years at Seashore Retirement Community, and made it her home. She became very involved in activities from making residents “Bibs” for meals and teaching some to sew. Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. Her legacy lives on in all of us, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

LaFrance; granddaughters, Pam (Scotty) Upton, Stephanie (Jerry) Hayles, and Kristi (Ryan) Smith; great grandchildren, Clay Upton (Hannah), Wesley Hayles, Victoria Hayles, Kailee Brown, Kaden Brown, Kye Smith, and Kollins Smith; great-great grandchildren, Cooper, Bently, and John Clay.
