Lloyd Summerall

Lloyd “Berry” Summerall, age 77 of Perkinston, passed way on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

He was a native of South Florida and graduated from Fort Myers High School.

Berry was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Jolene Summerall; and his parents, “Shorty” and “Polly” Summerall.

He is survived by his children, Lloyd Travis “Torn” Summerall (Sherry), Tralice Pauline “Sissy” Mallery (Alex), Lorena Sue “Rene” Konz (James), William Avery “Willie” Summerall (Angelia), Holly Kathleen Pina (Eugene), and Jesse Lee Summerall (Jessica); his siblings, Marvene (Don), Sonja (Larry), and Yvonne (Rick); his 15 grandchildren; his 17 great grandchildren; his sister-in-law, von Henderson; his brother-in-law, Denny Hatchel; and several nieces and nephews.

Berry was a proud member of the United States Air Force.  He was a carpenter by trade, but those who knew him knew he was a Jack of all trades and loved his “projects”.

He enjoyed the outdoors and had a gypsy soul that loved to travel with the love of his life, Betty Jolene.

Berry was a devout Christian with great faith.  He was a hardworking family man, a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
