Lloyd Glen ""Dump"" Scarborough, 83, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 in Gulfport.
Mr. Scarborough graduated from Saucier High School and attended Perkinston Jr. College. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean War. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and was a member of Faithview Baptist Church.
Mr. Scarborough was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Louise Noble Scarborough; sisters, Avis Perette, Ruby Fore, Bessie Gartman, Earline Fore, Hazel Cooper, Beatrice Patton and Vertie ""Bert"" Saucier; and brothers, James, Leo and Awris Scarborough.
Survivors include his brother, Billy Jack Scarborough and his wife, Wyvona of Perkinston; his sister, Francis Quist of Albuquerque, NM; and his nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Rouse Cemetery in Saucier.
Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Faithview Baptist Church.
