Liston Herbert Necaise

Liston H. Necaise, age 86, passed away on January 4, 2015, in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. Necaise was born to Herbert L. Necaise and Emma Necaise. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gulfport. He retired from the VA Medical Center in Gulfport, MS, where he worked as a corrective therapy assistant.
Mr. Necaise had many interests which included catching mullet and working in his garden. He was a fan of the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Braves and loved to play Bourre'.
Mr. Necaise was very meticulous, especially with his car, and he was very organized. He always looked forward to a Sunday afternoon drive, as it was a favorite for him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Cuevas Necaise; his second wife, Rose Marie Necaise; his brother, Donald Necaise; sisters, Rita Necaise and Barbara Ladner; and his parents.
Mr. Necaise is survived by his children, Nadine (Jerry) Nicolls of Saucier, MS and Greg (Margo) Necaise of Pearl River, LA; his siblings, Thelma (Grifton) Shiyou from the Standard Community, Margaret Cuevas and Jerry (Dorothy) Cuevas, both of Kiln, MS; his brother-in-law, J.C. Ladner; and his sister-in-law, Bernice Necaise, both from the Dedeaux Community.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Gardens.
