Lisa Thornton

Lisa Marie Thornton, age 57, of Biloxi, passed away on January 11, 2021.

Lisa was born in Big Spring, Texas and attended Biloxi High School. She worked in human resources, administration, and IT at Due South Charters with her husband Gregory. Prior to working with Due South Charters she worked in the gaming industry.  Lisa loved gardening, boating, traveling, fishing and camping, and was a member of the Women of the Moose #528 D’Iberville chapter.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Joe Donogriche.

Mrs. Thornton is survived by her husband, of eleven years, Gregory Thornton; her mother, Margaret Donogriche; her siblings, Linda Donogriche (Matt), Catherine Donogriche Spiers, and Joseph Donogriche; her nephew, Chad Spiers; and her great nephew, Dylan Spiers, all from Biloxi.

Lisa had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone, even complete strangers.  She loved life and lived it to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 10:00 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi.
