Linda Marie Wedgeworth

Linda Marie Dedeaux Wedgeworth, age 70, of the Dedeaux Community, passed away on October 20, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clinton and Earlyne Dedeaux; a brother, Carey Dedeaux; and her grandparents, Christoph and Mae Dedeaux and Leran and Ethel Ladner.

She is survived by her children, Lance Wedgeworth (Charlee) and Lindsey Anderson (Jake); her siblings, Kim Dedeaux, Alan Dedeaux, Shelly Lee (Dave), and Dywana Sawyer; 5 grandchildren, Cooper Wedgeworth, Nate Anderson, Lane Wedgeworth, Justin Wedgeworth, and Harper Wedgeworth; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Linda was retired from the Hancock County School District after 28 years of faithful service.  She enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports, shopping with friends, eating, and spending time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Canon Hospice for their support and care.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 11 am - 1 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm in the church.  Interment will be in Alphonse Malley Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 14595 Vidalia Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.
