Linda Rogers Wallace passed away peacefully on June 3, 2017, shortly following her 69th birthday at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Linda was born on May 28, 1948 in Norfolk, VA to the late CDR (ret) Donald "Buck" and Betty Rogers. She married the late Robert Stephen Wallace, her soulmate, on April 3, 1980. On February 12, 1981, she welcomed her son, Scott Wallace.
Linda spent her early life moving often as the child of a US Navy Officer. She moved to Diamondhead in 1980 and would later relocate to Pass Christian in 1997. Linda spent much of her life donating her time and effort to numerous school fundraisers. She was a Real Estate agent with an honest personality. However, Linda's most exceptional and genuine traits include a love for cooking and sharing this gift entertaining her friends and family. She had a special way of making people feel welcomed and organizing parties and events.
She will be missed by her son, Scott Wallace; his spouse, Dana Wallace; her grandchild, Madelyn Wallace; her two brothers, Rick Rogers (Vickie) and Randy Rogers (Marci); nephews, Christopher Rogers, Rob Wallace, and Addison Riemann; nieces, Molly Rogers, Libby Rogers, and Kimberly Palumbo (Carl); and great nephews, Chandler, Bryce and Sutton Palumbo.
Family and friends are invited to the Live Oak Cemetery on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 12pm to reminisce the life of Linda Wallace. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian is serving the family.
