Linda "Darnell" Lander, 65, went to meet her Lord and Savior on April 24th, 2017.
She was born on July 22nd, 1951 and was a lifelong resident of the Saucier community where she met her husband of 47 years, Ellis Lander. Together they resided in Saucier, MS where she was a member of Saucier United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Maggie Saucier; her brothers, Vildon Saucier and Vermon Lee Saucier; along with her son, William "Todd" Lander. She is survived by her husband, Ellis Lander; son, Shane Lander; her granddaughter, Rileigh Lander; her four sisters, Doris Ladner, Eula Lizana, Patricia Lizana, and Peggy Lander; many grandchildren, Natalie, Tyler, Brayden, Emily, and Ellee; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
The memorial service will be held at Saucier United Methodist Church, 24135 Church Ave, Saucier, MS 39574 on Monday May 1st at 7 pm. The family asks that in lieu of gifts and flowers, all donations be made to Saucier United Methodist Church Building Fund in memory of Darnell.
