Linda Gonsoulin

Mrs. Linda Gonsoulin, age 75, passed in peace surrounded by her family on October 18, 2018, at Ocean Springs Hospital.
She was born to the late Joe Butler and Doris T. Butler on October 11, 1943, in Biloxi.  She resided in Ocean Springs her entire life, including her marriage of 49 years.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda's passion was her family.  She was always the first one to show up for family functions and the last one to leave.  She was happiest surrounded by her family while they laughed and shared stories.  Her dream of becoming a "Maw Maw" was achieved a little later than she wanted, but she cherished her three grandchildren.  She loved each of her family members "more than they will ever know."
She was preceded in death by her son, Sheppard J. Gonsoulin, Jr.; and two of her siblings, Mildred (Butler) Bosarge and Billy Joe "Sonny" Butler.
She is survived by her husband, Sheppard J. Gonsoulin, Sr.; two children, Jeffrey (Kini) Gonsoulin and Jennifer (Ben) Andrus; three grandchildren,  Addison, Case, and Abel, all of Ocean Springs; and brother, James "Curly" (Judy) Butler of League City, Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Avenue, West Jackson County, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the service.  Burial will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
