Linda Clements

Linda M. Clements, age 79, of Newton, NC, formerly of Gulfport, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 in North Carolina.
Mrs. Clements was a native of Collins, MS and lived most of her life on the coast before moving to North Carolina in 2004. She always had a hand in politics and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death byher husband, John Levi Clements, a son, Timothy Clements, a grandson, Michael Clements, and a brother, Verlon McKenzie.
Survivors include her children, Kenya Clements, Kristey Cobb, and Linda Creed; 3 brothers: Kenneth McKenzie, John McKenzie, and Holland Frank McKenzie, a sister, Ava Jordan, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, from 6-8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. The funeral service will be Friday at 1:30 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
