Lillie M. Cuevas Bobinger, age 84, resident of Gulfport, died on Friday, November 17, 2006.
Mrs. Bobinger was a native of Kiln, MS and a had been a resident of Gulfport since 1947. She was a former parishioner of St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport and a current member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. She was a wonderful homemaker, caring for her family, and enjoyed traveling and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Joseph Bobinger, Sr.; parents, Claude and Norine Shiyou Cuevas; brothers, Curtis and Romar Cuevas; and sister, Oudia Mae Stiglet.
Mrs. Bobinger's survivors include her children, Elvin Bobinger, Jr. of Saucier, Lonnie Bobinger, Sr. (and Lynnette) of Gulfport, Sharon B. Dedeaux (and Ronnie) of Gulfport, and Kearney P. Bobinger of Gulfport; daughters-in-law, Donna Bobinger, Dorothy Weaver, Danielle Bobinger, and Lisa Bobinger; brother, Neil Cuevas of Long Beach and sister, Bernice Thompson of Carriere; grandchildren, Shelli Bobinger, Kelli Stapp, Jena Cuevas, Donna Cuevas, Lonnie Bobinger, Jr., Rhonda Breland, Mark Bobinger, John Bobinger, Kevin Bobinger, Brian Dedeaux, Julie Dedeaux, Patrick Bobinger, Ashlee Bobinger, and Christopher Bobinger; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to JoEllen Frazier and the staff of Home Away from Home for their excellent care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 20, 2006, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport at 1:00 p.m., where friends may visit from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Burial will follow mass at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Vincent De Paul Society, 366 Cowan Road, Gulfport, MS 39507.
