Lillian Sullivan Gavins age 93, was born Lillian Ann Chubb on June 23, 1926 in Miami, FL. She married Burnis Brewer Sullivan on December 26, 1942 and they were married for over 20 years before he passed away. She was preceded in death by her husband’s, Burnis Sullivan, and her second husband, Raymond Gavins;
She is survived by her children, Gail Raymond, Peggy Harrington (Richard), Kathy Mitchell (Johnny), Lee Sullivan (Tonya); her grandchildren, Tracy Neal, Helene Copeland (Steven), “Jimbo” James Neal III. (Veronica), “Buzzy” Richard Harrington (Jennifer), Jason Harrington (Janel), Ashley Racey (Joshua), Wendie Hawkins, Denise Webb (Jeff), John “Clay Mitchell III., Leighanna Sullivan; her great- grandchildren, Tom Pearson, Jennifer Pearson, Steven Ryan Copeland, James “Bo” Neal, IV., Hunter Harrington, Maya Smith, Robert Bickle, Amber Bickle, “JJ” Jason Harrington, Jr., Quin Harrington, Laila Harrington, Jonathan Racey, Kiara Racey, Nicholas Hawkins, Trevor Hawkins, Braxton Hawkins, Paige Webb Allen (Hutson), Morgan Webb, Madison Webb, Kealey Smith (Fredrickous), Anna Grace Webb and Emily Mitchell; and a host of friends who will all miss her deeply.
Lillian was a beautician, and had her Associates degree in Cosmetology. She eventually owned Sullivan’s Beauty Shop on Pass Road in Biloxi, she then moved the shop to the Buena Vista Hotel. She later worked out of her home for her favorite clients until retirement. She loved cooking for her family, playing with her dogs “Baby and Fluffy”, boating, trips to Florida, reading the Bible, but most of all spending time with her wonderful family.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation for family and friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service all at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. in West Jackson County.
