Mr. Lewis F. Smith, age 82, of Gulfport, MS, formerly of Marietta, GA, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. Smith retired as a Lieutenant from the U.S. Navy, retired as an electrician from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and retired from Kroger Food Stores.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan A. Smith. Survivors include his children: Patricia Grove, Lilburn, GA, Leslie Smith, Sewanee, GA, and Scott Smith, Gulfport, MS; 2 grandchildren, Hayden and Tucker Smith.
Graveside services will be held in Charleston, SC.
