Levell Ladner

Levell "Cotton" Joseph Ladner, age 82, was born on November 24, 1935, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018. He was surrounded by his family at his home in Pass Christian.
Cotton worked at Taber Metals in Gulfport for 56 years. He loved his family, job, camping, swimming, hunting, traveling, working on cars, floundering, and fishing.
When his children were young, he took his vacation during the summer for them and it was spent on the river.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Purvis and Permelia "Jack" Ladner; siblings, Mary Ann Deschamp, Revernal Ladner, Garvis Ladner, Austin Ladner, and Jason Ladner; grandson, Danny Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joan Ladner; children, Phyllis DeWitt (Randy), Fitzgerald Ladner (Susan), Scott Ladner, Craig Ladner (Kim Jones), and Rochelle Ladner Harris (Coop); 15 grandchildren, Steve DeWitt, Mike DeWitt, Brad DeWitt, Anthony DeWitt, Tangy Ladner, Adrian Ladner, Brennan Ladner, Damian Ladner, Jessika Ulrich, Amber Shaw, Heather Saucier, Nicholas Ladner, Hallie Harris, and Tyler Harris; 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Genevia Necaise, Merle Dean Cuevas (Jarvis), and Eva Gay Mckay (Coy); brothers, Reginald Ladner (Verna Mae), and Ernest Ladner (Gloria); sisters-in-law, Jonnie Faye Ladner, Peggy Ladner, and Mildred Ladner.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Rd, Pass Christian. A burial will follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery @ Rotten Bayou.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS 39571.
