Lettie Ladner

Mrs. Lettie Ladner, age 92 and a resident of Long Beach, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Mrs. Ladner was a native of Perkinston and had been a resident of Long Beach for 49 years. She was retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding. She was a member of the Community Landmark Missionary Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Council Ladner; and parents, Jack and Roxanne Daniels.
She is survived by her son, Aubrey Ladner, and daughter-in-law, Shirley; two sisters, Stella Hickman of Wiggins and Virgie Miller of Florida; four grandsons, Perry (Glenda) Ladner and Kent (DeDe) Ladner of Long Beach; Michael (Sharon) Ladner of Pass Christian, and Chris (Suzanne) Ladner of Chicago, IL; 13 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012, from 6pm-9pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be held at Ladner Cemetery in the Riceville Community in Harrison County.
