Letha Mae Melvin

Letha Mae Head Melvin, 81, of Saucier passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Melvin was born on March 13, 1930 to the late, David and Artishe Head.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Melvin; her son, Kendal Ray Melvin; her step son, Jimmy Page; her grandchildren, Shena Evitts and Jackie Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Davenport and Christian Blackmon.
Survivors include her children, David Melvin, Cecil Page (Sue), Alton Page (Lena), Debra Olier (Richard), Sandra Spooner (James, Jr.), Arlene Evitts (Jim), and Darlene Evitts (Dale); her step children, Tommy Page, Larry Page, Carolyn Geiger, and Elizabeth Pearson; 24 grandchildren; and 43 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 12 Noon, with visitation two hours prior, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
Burial will follow at Head Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Letha Melvin to BEAMS Ministry, 15444 Duckworth Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
