Lester Shaw, 84 and of Saucier, MS passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. Shaw was a lifelong resident of Saucier, and was of the Baptist Faith. He owned a trucking company and retired as a County Patrolman, then spent many years on the family farm. He was slow to complain and fast to flash a smile.
A special thanks to the doctors and staff at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport.
Mr. Shaw was preceded in death by his parents, Clozell Shaw, Sr. and Nancy Shaw; two brothers, Clayel Shaw and Clozell Shaw, Jr.; and his sister Aline Shaw. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Beatrice Ladner Shaw of Saucier; his nephew Wayne Clark and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 N., Gulfport, MS.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
