Lester "Butch" Katan

Lester ""Butch"" Katan, III, of D'Iberville, passed away on January 21, 2015 at the age of 59. He was born in Biloxi on January 14, 1956. He graduated from Long Beach High School in 1974. He enjoyed working offshore for many years, but decided to change careers and became a Commercial Refrigeration Technician. He spent most of his adult life in Texas. He returned to the coast in 2005. He was a dedicated father who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his 4 children and 12 grandchildren.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Gulfport.
