Leroy Patrick Pucheu

Leroy Patrick Pucheu, age 93 of Gulfport, passed away on October 17, 2024.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Pucheu and Lydia Marie Pucheu; 2 sisters, Ethel Norris Dorothy Pucheu; 2 brothers, Jake Pucheu and Harvey Pucheu and two sons, James W. Pucheu and Melvin Leroy Pucheu.

 He is survived by four children, Frances Pucheu Bowman, Richard C. Pucheu, Lewis Pucheu, Tony M. Pucheu, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. 

He devoted his life to his children and family. He loved fishing and hunting and spent many hours on the islands fishing the Chandeleur Islands. He was always quick with a smile and many stories about his fishing days with his late friends like Leroy Warfield and Warner Huber just to name a few. 

A visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 AM, interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
