Leonardo Serna age 80, a native of Delicias Chihl, Mexico and resident of Ocean Springs, MS passed away at the age of 80 years old on January 27, 2022 in Ocean Springs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Olga O. De Serna; his children, Maria Valenzuela and her husband Juan, Gustavo Serna and his wife Magaly, Raquel Tijerina and her husband Armando, Sergio Serna, and Nancy Alvarez and her husband Jorge, Lorenza Albanil and her husband Omar, and Yadira and Reyder Castillo; his seventeen grandchildren, Hervvn, Citlalvtl, and Juan E. Balenzuela, Janeth Gustavo, Jesika and Iveth Serna, Omar, Ivan, and Marco Albanil, Israel O. Isaac O. and Jocelyn Castillo, Luis Tijerna, and Olga Serna; twenty five great-grandchildren, Belen, Ismael, Julian, Mayson, Emily, Lexi, Sofia, Belien, Janell, Mayah, Azul, Ethan, Thomas, Yanixan, Adrian, Adriel, Gael, Mirian, Iris, Armando, Natalia, Eva, Jayden, Eean, and Alaia; numerous relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church on Riley Road in Ocean Springs at 2:00 p.m. Internment will follow service at Crestlawn Memorial Park Gardens Cemetery.
