Leonard N. Lowder

Leonard N. Lowder, age 70 of Perkinston, MS passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Leonard was a native of Concord, N.C. He graduated high school and received an associate degree from college.  Leonard was in the U.S. Coast guard and served for six years where he received the National Defense Service Medal, U.S. Coast Guard Meritorious Ribbon, U.S. Coast Guard unit commendation Ribbon, and two awards for good conduct.  He retired from construction and clerk duties.

Leonard enjoyed playing cards, keeping up with politics, and loved animals, especially his beloved cat Batman.

Leonard was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his four sisters, 2 brothers, many nieces, and nephews.

We will miss him, and will think of him every day but, we live with the comfort of knowing he was a believer in our Lord and loved the Lord.  We have Faith he is with him now and was met by angels.
