Leonard Charles Bourdin, Sr., age 63, resident of Long Beach, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 in Pascagoula.
Mr. Bourdin was a very dedicated employee at Ingalls Shipbuilding where he accumulated over 30 years of employment. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Mr. Bourdin was preceded in death by his father, Adolph Bourdin; mother, Lelia Bourdin and a brother, Adolph Bourdin, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gayle Bourdin; son, Leonard Charles """"Chuck"""" Bourdin, Jr of Long Beach; daughter, Wendy Bourdin of Madison, MS; son, Keith Bourdin of Long Beach; two brothers, Jean Bourdin and wife Peggy of Natchez, MS, and Roberts Bourdin and wife Bobbie of Pass Christian; three sisters, Elayne Rutx and husband Irv of Lockport, Il, Rose Marie Harvey and husband Ara of Oxford, MS and Lelia Blizzard and husband Henry of Monteagle, TN; grandchildren, Taylor Bourdin, Payton Bourdin, Coty Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Alexis Bosarge and Gavin Bosarge; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 23, 2007 at THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Hwy 49 North chapel from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501
