Rev. Leon Anderson, age 86, died, Monday, March 1, 2010 in Gulfport.
Rev. Anderson was a native of Conway, South Carolina, and a resident of the coast since 1946. He was a member of the Church of Christ Restored, and served as pastor since 1996. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U. S. Army Air Corp, and served in India, Africa, and Egypt. He had 30 years of civil service and retired from Keesler Air Force Base as a supervisor in the Precision Measurement Equipment Lab (PMEL).
He is survived by his wife, Selma D. Anderson; his son, John Michiel Anderson; two grandsons, Thomas L. Anderson and Greg D. Anderson; two great-granddaughters, Lindsey Rae Anderson and Cassi Topp; one great-grandson, Brayden Anderson; and various nephews and nieces.
Friends are invited to visit from 12:00 noon until the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
