Leola Green

Leola Williams Green, age 92, passed away June 14, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey P. Williams; siblings, Norman Cowart, Ernest Cowart, Jr., Floyde Cowart, Troy Cowart, J.Y. Cowart, Ersley Odom, and Lizette Nunemaker.

Leola is survived by her children, Virginia Stewart, Roger Williams, and Barbara Miller (Clyde); her sister, Vivian Thibault; her grandchildren, Sheila and Jose Cruz, Connie and Jeff Handley, Samuel and Breanna Stewart, Andrea and Chris Harrison, Percy and Dana Miller, Elton and Vonda Miller, Debiann and Rick Hyman, Nicole Williams, and Rochelle Dressel; her great grandchildren, Amber and Ryan Montgomery, Randall Mabb, Bradley and Amanda Mabb, Justin Lee, Dakota Handley, Sierra Handley, Cameron Stewart, Emmett Stewart, Sierra Stanley, Dallas Stanley, Cody Allen, Jacob and Jensen Allen, Alissa Allen, Amber and Nick Baxter, Nathaniel, Scott and Amber Miller, Tristen and Ryan Harrison, Christian, Kadence, Jada, and Alexia Louviere, and Makayla and Oscar Lara, Micah and Ely Sanchez, and Tylar Dressel; and great great grandchildren, Ryan, Nathaniel, Olivia, Alyana, Breanna, Ella, Christina, Kailey, Roxanne, Aliyah, Nicole, Grayson, Jaxson, Chase, Ava Ann, Megan, Ellie, Jadence, and Bryson, Myah, Noah, Myles & Ezra.

Leola’s smile was contagious. She loved everyone she met, and everyone loved her. She was full of life and loved to laugh. She taught her family how to love Jesus. Leola loved the Lord more than anything and she is now walking with Jesus for all of eternity.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Friday, June 17th at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., with the Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m.
