Leo Henderson

MSgt Leo W. Henderson, USAF, Ret, age 75, of Saucier, passed away on July 30, 2022.

A native of Hendersonville, NC, he was the eldest son of the late Phil and Dot Henderson.

A devoted husband, father, and papaw, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann Henderson; his children, Memory (Ted) Rouse, Wendy (Chris) Tapper, and Phillip (Rhianna) Henderson, II; his siblings, Wanda (Ted) Netherton, Dwight (Traci) Henderson, Phyllis Henderson, and Lisa Tolzman; 8 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Leo served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, moving his family across the US and overseas while serving his country.  Since his retirement, he has been a small business owner, manager of several businesses, computer repairman/guru, and an upstanding member of the community.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at the Saucier United Methodist Church, 24135 Church Ave, Saucier, MS 39574.  The funeral service will be at 11:30 am in the church.  Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the American Red Cross of Alabama and Mississippi, 700 Caldwell Trace, Birmingham, AL 35242
