Len Lamar Johnston

d. March 21, 2014

Len Lamar Johnston, Jr., age 46, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, March 21, 2014.
Len was born in New Orleans and was a resident of the Coast for most of his life. He was a man with a big heart, a corny sense of humor, and he was a sucker for a stray cat. Len was a big kid at heart, too. He enjoyed collecting model trains, planes, and automobiles. He loved his family and Tiffany's family, as well as his many longtime friends and feline companions, Bitsy and Rex. He couldn't wait until the next crawfish boil. He loved to travel, and his favorite vacation was with Tiffany's family to Alberta, Canada. He was addicted to Starbucks and the Large Caramel Frappucino with a triple shot of expresso, no whipped cream, and ...give him the extra!
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Zember Raines; and his brother, Joe Zember.
He is survived by his love of 24 years, Tiffany Schulz; his brothers, Larry Grigg and Kenny Zember; and his nieces and nephews, Tanisha Agee, Tina Fisher, Loretta Saunders, Larry Grigg, Jr., and James Grigg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m.
