Leah Davion Bosarge

Leah Rose Davion Bosarge passed away peacefully at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg on August 29, 2012. Mrs. Bosarge was born in Pass Christian on December 30, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Anita Davion, her beloved husband, George J. Bosarge, Jr., a brother, Ronald ""Dinky"" Davion, a sister, Mary Ernestine ""Kitty"" Clegg, and a son, Barry Stephen Bosarge.
She is survived by her brother, James Davion of Hattiesburg, daughters June O'Neal (Dale) of Perkinston and Robin Bosarge Thorn (John) of Tuscaloosa, AL, grandchildren Jesse Vincent (Crystal), Jenni Albrecht (Michael), George Christian ""Chris"" Vincent (Amber), Sky Whisenant, Jason Whisenant, Shanna McDaniel (Parker), Stephanie Smith (Sammy), Beth Henry (Israel), and Katie Johnson (Brett). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bosarge was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian and Long Beach. She was a devoted wife and mother who always put her family first in her life. She taught kindergarten for many years in Long Beach and is remembered fondly by her students. She was baptized at Sharon Baptist Church in Long Beach and most recently attended New Covenant Assembly of God in Wiggins. She will be forever loved and will live on in the hearts of her family.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Riemann Family Funeral Home on Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm.
