Lawrence Damion McVeay age 31, a resident of Moss Point, MS passed away on June 14, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lilly Mae Qualls; and his paternal grandfather, Walter Lawrence McVeay, IV.
Damion is survived by his mother, Carol Lorine Qualls; his father, Walter Lawrence McVeay, V; his brothers, Chad B McVeay (Crystal), and Rocky L. McVeay (Stephanie); paternal grandparents, Gerald and Linda Paige; maternal grandfather, Eugene Qualls; his aunts and uncles, Monica Turner, Maria Brader, Beth Moncier, Melvin Qualls, Pat Bagley, Macine Trantham (Kenneth), Ebb Qualls, LillyJean Bowen (James), James Qualls, Tommy Qualls (Melissa); numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Damion was a native of Jackson County, and currently resided in Wade. He was tough as nails, and always had a smile on his face. He was his dad’s personal hero and his mother’s heart.
He loved to fish and hunt, loved his guitar, football, and spending time with friends and family.
Damion was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to meet and know him. He never met a stranger and had a smile ready for anyone he came across.
