Mr. Lavon 'Buster' Walters, age 79, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Gulfport following a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Walters; and his grandson, Joshua Robinson.
Buster was a loving father and grandfather who leaves behind his two daughters, Debi Robinson and her husband, Derek, of Pass Christian and Tina Moss and her husband, Allen, of Gulfport; and two grandchildren, Ethan Robinson and Ashleigh Mayfield and her husband, Russell, all of Pass Christian.
Buster was born in Laurel and had been a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was a commercial fisherman most of his life and in 1974, he became one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed a ministry work the remainder of his life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 4:00 PM at the Long Beach Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Daugherty Rd.
