Lavoise Michael Redmond, 54, of Diberville, MS, passed away on September 29, 2021 in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Biloxi, MS on July 30, 1967.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lavoise Redmond; grandson, James Davis; grandparents, Jessie and Myrtis Redmond, John & Lillian Gray; sisters, Holly Hendricks and Missy Gray; and his sister in-law, Mary Brossett.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Redmond; children, Alexis (Albert) Dice, Michael (Natalia) Redmond, Robert “Bobby” Redmond; his grandchildren, Devan Dice, Blake Davis, Linaea Redmond, Michaela Redmond, Graham Redmond; his mother, Brenda Gray Lovelace; his second dad, Marion Lovelace; brother, Sam Brossett, Jimmy (Jamie) Hendricks; sister, Margaret (Brad) Sigurnjak; and many many more family members and friends.
Michael worked for Gulf Pride Enterprises for 26 years. He was a member of Diberville Christian Assembly. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed his many trips to Noxubee, MS with his best friends Mike and Charlie Wilson, Javon James and cousin Wayne Gray. He loved going to the races, the fights, collecting treasures with Bo Weems, and hanging out with his early morning Whataburger crew. More than anything he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who are his world and meant everything to him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
