Lauren Ashley Young

Lauren Ashley Young, age 21, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011, in Gulfport.
Lauren was a 2007 graduate of Long Beach High School and was a free spirited, head strong young lady who lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel and loved to rescue and care for animals.
She was preceded by her great-grandparents, Edith Parrish and Elise Brady, and her great-grandfather, Luther Parks.
She is survived by her loving parents, Bruce and Donna Young, a brother, Derek Young, her grandparents, Don and Shirley Parks, Bill and Margie Young, and Joan Young, 3 aunts, Laura (Daniel) Haulsee, Kelli (Eric) Hawkins, Toni Lott, 1 uncle, Brian (Carla) Young, Great uncle, Doug (Mary Jo) Tillery, great-aunt, Carol Tillery, her special cat, Lola Bear, and numerous other cousins, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, where friends may visit from 5 - 6 pm. A reception will be held immediaely following the service at the Long Beach Senior Center on Daughtery Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of South MS, 2615 Highway 49, Gulfport, MS 39501.
