Laura Elaine Mills went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2019 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends,
Laura retired as branch manager from the Kiln Library after 19 years of service. She had a servant's heart and loved bringing laughter, kindness and her gentle spirit to everyone she met. Her years working at the library were treasured memories for her.
She loved to travel, crochet and especially loved spending time with her friends and grandchildren.
Laura is preceded in death by her father, Robert T. Caldwell and mother, Donna J. Caldwell.
She leaves behind her husband, Mike Mills; daughters, Erin Mills, and Michelle Honkala (Kevin); sister, Barbara Yarbrough; and brother, Bobby Caldwell (Wendi). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Araceli Carter, Lucius Honkala and Amelie Honkala; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, from 1:00-3:00 pm. A Memorial service will be held at 3 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.
