Laura Ann Malley, age 58 of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. The Lord came to take her home to be with her Mom, where she knew she was waiting.
She was a native of Pass Christian and graduated from Hancock High School in 1980.
Laura was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Malley; her mother, Verlene Malley; her sister, Linda Malley; and her brothers, Garland Malley and Daryl Malley, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Pittman (Jason); her life-long friend of 20 years, Cheryl Culberson and her daughters, Amber Brune (Jeffrey) and Amanda Culberson; her siblings, Stevie Malley, Roger Malley (Debbie), Dexter Malley, Sr., and Kyle Malley; her grandchildren, Brennan Johnson, Chase Pittman, Ashton Pittman, Ty Pittman, Celeste Nelson, Joseph Nelson, Austin Schorghfer, Savanna Schorghfer, Bryson Tucker, Blake Triplett, Damien Triplett, Ryleigh Triplett, Kaleb Brune, MaKaylee Brune; her furbabies, Princess, Princeton, Alley, and Teddy; her god-daughter, Andrea Malone; her nieces, Mishelle Malone (Michael), Kandas Saucier (Jamie), Jacinta Malley, Lana Daniels, Devin Blackmon (Daniel), and Kyrissa Danos (Gary); her nephews, Daryl Jr. Malley (Sara), Stephen Malley (Leslie), Dexter Jr. Malley (Alicia), Alan Peters, and Drew Malley (Megan); and many great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews.
Laura loved visits from her grandchildren, playing pool, watching football (especially the Saints), coloring by number, Facebook, playing Blackjack at the casino, and watching Crazy Craig Pearls.
In one way or another, she touched many lives and never met a stranger. She was always there to lend a hand or an open ear. She enjoyed all visitors.
The family wishes to thank everyone for the prayers and condolences during their time of need.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 23, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Necaise Crossing Cemetery.
