Laura Dale Simolke Bernos Ferrell, 65 of Pass Christian, MS, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018.
Laura was a native of Bay St. Louis and a longtime resident of Pass Christian.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Bernos and James Ferrell, her parents, Louie Simolke and Lena Ladner, her sister, Terry Simolke, her son, Keith Simolke and her grandson, Bryan Simolke.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Shiyou (Adam) of Bay St Louis, step son, Zachery Ferrell of Hamilton, Ontario, step daughter, Brittany Bernos (Nicholas) of Waveland, daughter-in-law, Malissa "Missy" Simolke of Bay St. Louis, sister Patricia Bonney (Henry) of Pass Christian, brother Louie Simolke (Frieda) of Bay St. Louis, Mother-in-law, Nettie Ferrell of Hamilton, Ontario, grandchildren, Brandon Simolke (Wendy) of Kiln, Brennan Simolke of Bay St. Louis, Cody Shiyou (Kristen) of Bay St. Louis, Destiny Shiyou (Michael) of Bay St. Louis, Nadia and Kain Ferrell of Hamilton, Ontario, Brennan and Kaylynn Loisel and Camden Clarke of Waveland, Great grandchildren, Allison "Allie" and Landon Simolke of Kiln and Scarlett Shiyou of Bay St. Louis. Godchildren, Hope Shippey of Pass Christian, Christopher Bonney of Pass Christian and Amber Bryan of Diamondhead.
Her daughter and grandchildren would like to give special thanks to Henry and Patricia Bonney and family and Louie and Frieda Simolke and family for all their unconditional love and caregiving through her illness.
A Celebration of Life for Laura will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the home of Henry and Patricia Bonney, 25366 Lechene Drive, Pass Christian, MS 39571.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, Pass Christian, is serving the family.
