Larry "Pug" Phillips

Larry “Pug” Phillips, age 75 of Kiln, MS, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LB and Irene Coulter Phillips; sisters, Bessie Mae Phillips, Jacqueline Tims, and Joyce Pettis; and brothers, James and Wallace Phillips.

Larry is survived by his siblings, Mary Dennison, Oxford, GA, June Garick, Collins, MS, and Jerry Phillips, Baton Rouge, LA.

Larry was a native of Hickory Grove, MS. He attended the Sumrall Attendance Center and the University of Southern Mississippi. Larry served in the US Navy aboard USS Constellation and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Larry enjoyed life and made those around him smile.

Graveside services will be on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Advance Cemetery, 31 Doc Gore Rd. Sumrall, MS 39482.
